Welcome to AEMMA's video library. The purpose of this collection of videos is to provide an opportunity to familiarize oneself with AEMMA from a visual perspective. This collection contains videos of training, workshops, documentaries, events and other miscellaneous videos which depict who and what AEMMA is. Keep checking back to this page, as more videos become available, they will be inserted into this collection.

	The opening practice for 2003 at AEMMA, comprised of sharp sword cutting practices, chilli, pastries, Kel's special "ale", chocolate and dagger fighting. - January 05, 2003	An example of a scholler test, performed by Jeff Larson, Watertown, NY who had been training at AEMMA for a number of years and challenged for the rank of scholler. - July 2002	A few video segments of some fundamental grappling and dagger techniques that are found in "Book #1". These are non-production quality video segments, but do adequately illustrate the techniques described in "Book #1". - May 30, 2002
	Another example of video segments that illustrate an AEMMA scholler test. Here, James Hobson not only demonstrates his/her's technical skills, but academic and theoretical knowledge as well. - February 25, 2002	Brian and David take time out to assess the destructive capabilities of the European longsword. Using tightly rolled wet straw mats, the cutting capabilities of a sharpened longsword deserved the highest respect. - December 06, 2001	This is an example of a typical class for delta-level training of the longsword. Students employ the use of wasters, and instruction by 1 or more instructors per class facilitate training, tune sword forms and provide one-on-one instruction (5.1MB). - August 2000
	Brian and Mike demonstrating the first drill that a new student will learn, that being the delta drill level #1. It provides the students an opportunity to strike each other with the wasters while responding with an appropriate parry (6.12MB). - October 1999

Events & Workshops
	The undergraduate medieval studies society of St. Michael's College, hosted the first medieval symposium at Brennan Hall. The first lecture on medieval monsters, the second on dispelling the myths of medieval arms and armour by Kel. - Febrary 27, 2010	A collection of some videos depicting the various activities at the FACT Open House, including sharp sword cutting, arming sword and rapier presentation to the audience. - January 31, 2010	A collection of short videos that capture the essence of a 5 day presentation by AEMMA at the Royal Ontario Museum's (ROM) March Break week during March 11-14 showing the display area as well as numerous armoured bouts. - May 01, 2003
	AEMMA hosted an intensive two-day Liberi training workshop focused only on abrazare and daga techniques instructed by Bob Charron. - November 23-24, 2002	AEMMA participated in the International Jousting Tournament sponsored by the WCJA in Waterford ON, and delivered 4 judicial armoured duels over the weekend event. - July 14, 2002	Another collection of short videos of the CHEMA 2002 event held in Toronto, May 11, 2002 is available on the subsequent page. This includes videos of Pete Kautz, David Cvet & Scott Nichols workshops. - May 11, 2002
	AEMMA attended and participated in the 3rd International Western Martial Arts Workshop in NYC, Oct 12-14. AEMMA delivered an armoured combat workshop and judged the armoured tournament. - October 18, 2001	AEMMA delivers a demonstration of a 14c armoured judicial duel at the World Championship Jousting Association tournament in Orangeville. - July 14, 2001	A collection of short videos of the WMA 2000 event held in Toronto, Oct 13-15 is available on the subsequent page. This includes the various engagements for both the early and late historical tournaments. - October 13-15, 2000

September 2005	A quick interview of David Cvet on Breakfast TV, a regular morning show aired in Toronto on CityTV. The interview was in the context of the ROM presentation scheduled for Apr 14 & May 12. - April 12, 2001
	TVO covered the entire 2nd Annual Western Martial Arts Worksho, and captured very eloquently, the essence of the workshop. It aired on TVO's "Studio2" on January 11, 2001. - October 13-15, 2000	AEMMA on Discovery Channel, examining the resurrection of European medieval martial arts in Canada, co-hosted by the Royal Ontario Museum. - January 09, 2001	AEMMA delivering a demonstration each day at the Royal Ontario Museum, on the arms and armour of a 14c warrior as part of the ROMLife program entitled "How a Man Shall be Armed". - December 30-31, 2000 & January 6-7, 2001
