"Cum la bocha la terra ti faro basaré, O in Ia chiaue de soto ti faro intrare."
"I will make you kiss the ground with your mouth, Or I will wrench you with a lower key."
Interpretation/Notes: Liberi continues to indicate that the boar's tooth is a multi-faceted maneuvre in which choices are available to the patient agent. This illustration is the continuation of the previous maneuvre, illustrating that a take-down would be the primary intent of such a maneuvre, or if not entirely successful, there is the possibility of a key-lock (wrench) which is also uncomfortable for the patient.
Application: This technique is the continuation of the previous hold. As implied by the interpretation, the patient agent (wearing the leg band) has two possible choices, the first is a take down by wrapping the patient agent's right arm over the rigid structure created with the agent's left arm, and while maintaining contact between the agent's wrist on the shoulder, pull the agent downwards to the ground. The second opportunity is to simply pull robustly towards the patient agent's chest while stepping forward. This maneuvre will cause the agent to go down on his knees due to the pressure exerted on the trapped arm. The patient agent must not bend down or over while deploying this takedown and he must ensure that the agent's wrist and hand remain on the shoulder of the patient agent during deployment of takedown. In both cases, the countering right arm deploys the boar's tooth from "below", indicating a vertical movement of the countering arm from possibly a starting position such as a iron gate or porta di ferro. |
