WMA 2000 Details:

Special Events: For those who are interested in participating in special events after the workshop, please select one or more of the following choices on your pre-registration form.
Friday night (Oct 13) Dinner atop the CN Tower at the infamous "360 Restaurant". Reservations are required in advance. Dinner & drinks approximately $45 CAD/person, reservations for 8pm.
Friday night (Oct 13) Dinner at "Barbarian's Steak House", Toronto's favourite steak house. Reservations are required in advance. Dinner & drinks approximately $60 CAD/person, reservations for 8pm.
Saturday night (Oct 14) Dinner and show at the "Medieval Times Restaurant" (the same location as the WMA workshop). Reservations are required in advance. Dinner, show, soft-drinks, coffee, desert and tip $39.50 CAD/person, reservations for 8pm.

Notes: Your email address will be added to the WMA 2000 distribution list for the purpose of notifications and changes with respect to this event. Your email address will be remain private on the list such that all email addresses will not be visible when notifications are transmitted. Please select one of the check boxes below to identify your level of attendance. This pre-registration form must be filled out for each family member.

Workshop Participant (WP): Those individuals who will be attending the lectures and participating in the physical workshops and/or tournaments for 3 days, and who's registration fee will include the continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.

Workshop Participant Casual: Those individuals who will be attending the lectures and/or participating in the physical workshops and/or tournaments on a day-by-day basis, and who's registration fee will include the continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.

Workshop Participant Family Member: Family members of workshop participants as defined above, and who's registration fee will include the continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.

Workshop Spectator: Those individuals who can observe the lectures, physical workshops and tournaments, view the vendor's wares and purchase items if desired. The registration does NOT include the continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.
WP Registration Fee:   $100 USD
WP Family Member Registration Fee: $60 USD per family member
WP Casual Registration Fee: $55 CAD/day
On the pre-registration form, please select the day you plan to attend.
Workshop Spectator Registration Fee: $15 CAD/day
Cancelation Fee: $10 USD
A full refund is made should there be a cancelation, except for a non-refundable administration fee of $10 USD.
Note: It is advisable that if you are definitely planning to attend, that you send in your money order or certified bank draft to the Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts no later than October 6 (Friday). Space is limited and if you plan on showing up at the door without pre-payment, you may not be able to gain entry due to a limitation of numbers of participants. Also, if you are coming from outside Toronto, please ensure you have your accomodations arrangement in place. There are at least 2 other martial arts workshops in Toronto that same weekend, as well as an additional 10,000 people in town during that weekend for various technology workshops and conferences! Workshop fees are non-refundable for cancellations after Oct 11th (Wednesday).

  2. Lunch and breaks will be located next to the vendor presentations.
  3. All lunches and breaks are included in the workshop registration fees.
  4. Special meal and/or fluids requirements must be made in advance of the workshop via email to the WMA 2000 Coordinator.
  5. Saturday night dinner show and "Knight Club" not included in workshop registration fees. Dinner & show reservations must be made during registration and will be an additional $40 CAD per person. The "Knight Club" is a cash bar.
