
The Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts (AEMMA) is proud to host the second annual International Western Martial Arts Workshop. The focus of the workshop will cover historical martial arts during the time frame of the medieval and renaissance periods. |

The workshop will include vendor displays of arms & armour, lectures and presentations by notable individuals, including a presentation on the infamous I.33 manuscript. Weapons covered in this workshop will include: longsword, sword & shield, pole-axe, rapier, rapier & dagger, schlager, dusak, dagger, quarter-staff and unarmed techniques. Weapons will be either wooden "wasters" or combat-ready steel. |
AEMMA reserves the right to revise the schedule in the event of availability issues with the instructors and lecturers. Those individuals that have pre-registered will receive an email indicating the change to the schedule of events. Please check back periodically as there are updates and developments occuring with respect to the workshop and therefore, the workshop pages will be updated to reflect those developments. |
