"How a Man Shall Be Armed in the 14th Century"

Sponsored by the Friends of the Medieval Studies Society (FMSS) of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), this presentation was free to members of the Society. Approximately 35 people arrived for this presentation, one of the early presentations organized by the FMSS.

The presentation was to describe in detail, the design and battle attributes of all of the components which makes up a 14th century harness. Brian McIlmoyle was to verbalize the harness parts, while David M. Cvet dressed in his harness with assistance from Russ Howe.

Brian further describes a fully armoured man, and how one might defeat one. Using only 2 spears, Brian shows how one might incapacitate an armoured man. David strolls amongst the guests at the presentation. Some of the younger visitors requesting a photograph with an armoured man.
